Goldstein & Russell PC is seeking to hire an attorney to join our small Supreme Court and appeal litigation practice in Bethesda, Maryland. We are looking for people who are willing and willing to take on many responsibilities, including preparing the first draft of the abstract for the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal, and organizing and carrying out legal research projects. We are flexible in terms of start dates.

We focus on doing good, meaningful work. In a typical year, we represent one party in the merits of the Supreme Court and many well-known cases in the Court of Appeal. We supplement with the work in the certification phase, friend project. A large part of our summary is free, and we are committed to maintaining this approach.
We strive to make the working day enjoyable. Our compensation is not based on the billed hours, so we will not track them unless it is necessary for the customer. We have no dress code or face time requirement. All of us live outside the office. Of course, sometimes we will work very hard. However, we will do everything we can to ensure that no one is overwhelmed.
If you cooperate with us, you will become a better lawyer. The plan is that you will work with the partner who needs the most help, usually in groups of two. You will participate in every part of the process and learn by doing. You will get detailed, constructive feedback about your work products. When you are ready and have the opportunity, we will try our best to provide you with oral arguments, direct contact with customers, speaking opportunities, publishing opportunities and other opportunities to build your own reputation.

This is what we are looking for:
We are looking for people who can do this job, IEThey are thoughtful, thoughtful and dedicated, and have enough experience to know what questions to ask and where to start looking for answers. The ideal candidate will have two to four years of relevant experience, which must include at least one appeal lawyer. First-class legal research and writing skills are a must. An outstanding academic qualification has never hurt anyone. You (eventually) must also become a member of the Maryland State Attorney.
