Benjamin Moore, a company of Berkshire Hathaway, known as one of the largest paint suppliers in the United States, abolished its entire legal department in November. What is even more offensive is that the dismissal allegedly occurred on “National Lawyer Who Loves You Day.”
The source said that Berkshire Hathaway’s third-quarter net profit increased by more than $30 billion year-on-year. The source said the company outsourced its internal legal team for “financial reasons.”
Company legal counsel Details about the lawyer who was forced to leave:
According to sources, the current former general counsel Eric Finkelman (Eric Finkelman) received notice of the layoffs before the layoffs.
Other internal lawyers fired include: Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary Ira Lakritz; Deputy Attorney General of Labor and Employment Karyn Jefferson; and Assistant Attorney Mariana Cordispo (Marianna Codispoti).
The source said the company has outsourced all its legal work to Littler Mendelson and independent contractors.
